Effective 2026-09-23. These terms govern use of Banterfly. By creating an account, you agree to this User Agreement and acknowledge the Privacy Notice. The Community Rules and Detailed Game Rules explain participation and conduct.
1. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 and provide accurate registration information. Keep access to your email secure. You are responsible for activity through your account. Do not impersonate anyone or create an account for another person without permission.
2. The game
Banterfly is a live social game, not a promise of a date, relationship, match, or available room. Rooms currently require three women and three men in one language. You choose a question before joining the live queue. A place in a queue does not guarantee a game; the current live wait ends after 45 minutes if a room does not form.
Game stages are timed. Unsubmitted answers, ratings, or choices may receive no points. The detailed game rules describe scoring, tickets, finalist selection, photos, and mutual choices. We may correct technical errors in scores or ticket accounting.
3. Your content
You retain rights to questions, answers, photos, profile text, and messages you provide. You give Banterfly a nonexclusive license to store, process, display, and deliver that content as needed to operate the game and its conversations under the visibility settings described in the rules. You confirm that you have the right to submit it and do not share another person's private material without permission.
4. Conduct and safety
Follow the Community Rules. Do not harass, threaten, deceive, spam, disclose another person's private information, or pressure anyone for contact or sexual activity. Adult or provocative questions are allowed within those limits. A recipient may save or share content you voluntarily disclose; use care with photos and personal details. Banterfly does not verify every player's identity or background.
5. Photos, matches, and conversations
Profile photos and private details are shown according to the game stage and match rules. In an anonymous side conversation, a photo is shown only if its sender chooses to attach it. A mutual choice may open a private conversation; either person may end or block it. Ending a connection can leave earlier messages readable while preventing new messages. Blocking hides access as described in the interface.
6. Tickets and availability
A ticket is required to enter a live queue and is used when a room forms. An expired wait does not use the ticket. Bonus tickets and promotions follow their published terms. Paid checkout is not currently open; any future purchase terms will be shown before payment. We may pause the service for maintenance or safety and cannot promise uninterrupted access.
7. Moderation and account action
We may review reports, remove content, restrict features, or suspend accounts to enforce these terms and protect users. Automated screening may miss harmful material. Contact us if you see a problem; do not assume that another player's presence means they have been screened or endorsed.
8. Communications and privacy
We use email for sign-in and necessary service messages. Game reminders, if offered, will depend on the availability and notification preferences you choose. The Privacy Notice describes data handling. Do not rely on a reminder as your only way to keep track of a scheduled game.
9. Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the service changes. The effective date and version will be shown here, and material changes will require a new acceptance before continued use where appropriate. Questions or account requests: hello@auth.banterfly.club.
